Our principles

Obtain a fairer voting system for public elections by:

  • Broad proportionality – decisions made in plain sight, not behind party doors
  • Extended Voter Choice – significant minority views represented, no more tactical voting
  • Stable Government -no more see-saw landslide swings
  • Maintenance of links between MPs and Geographical Constituencies. They just need to be larger in size and less in number.

There are more than one methods used by other countries and in the UK nations. A good summary is found in the Electoral Reform website Voting Systems – Electoral Reform Society – ERS (electoral-reform.org.uk)
